Finding ZOX's

Beginning January 2021 I was diagnosed with Covid 19.  What a month for me.  I was placed on oxygen for about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks.  I didn't get up and do anything.  I remember I didn't want to eat or drink anything.

But with just having surgery on my shoulder and peck muscle I knew I needed to get up and move.  I did have plenty of time to look at different things on the internet.  I stumbled across a company called Zox.  They make wrist bands with inspirational quotes.  The ones you see in the picture, tells me to "Trust God's Plan".  The ones that I am wearing today tells me "Rest your mind" "I am with you, Always."  I find comfort knowing I can just look down, and see what has been chosen for me to wear.  You can check them out at #zox

Florida Trip

I left in May to head to Orlando to spend a week with my cousin and her husband. My other cousin, Sonya joined us.  We spent a day at Epcot, going to the butterfly exhibit. We spent the day making many memories together.

It was so fun how the photographer place characters in our pictures.  I think this was one of my best trips to Florida.  Us girls had a wonderful time bonding, and hanging out.  Laughing about our moms who are in heaven together. The day spent at Epicot was such and awesome day making memories.

Traveling home in a Tesla

Rhonda and I left on a Friday morning to head back to Ohio.  We stopped at a place called Buccee's that has 100 gas pumps, and the store was something else.!  You could find just about anything you wanted in there.

Our first stop that night was on the north side of Charlotte NC.  After eating a delicious supper, it was bed time.  We were tired from driving 10 hours.  Our next stop was going to be Charleston WV to spend the night with my Uncle Bob and my Aunt Carol. We let the car charge up.  Started up the mountain on Coal Mountain Rd.  Going up the mountain wasn't so bad.  But coming down, we started losing air fast,  We weren't sure if we were going to make it to a stop. Thank goodness we did.

Church

Pastor Chuck

Sunday morning I went to church with my Uncle Bob, and I got to hear Pastor Chuck live in church.  What a sermon.  The song of the morning was “Look What you’ve Done” by Tasha Layton.  These words hit me hard this morning.  “The lies I believed, They got some roots that run deep, I let ‘em take a hold of my life, I let ‘em take control of my life”.  These words made me cry, I knew that this verse was true.  Here is another verse.  “Suddenly all the shame is gone, I thought I was too broken, now I see, You were breaking new ground inside of me”. If you ever get a chance to listen, I mean just listen to this Song, it will hit you.

I will say Pastor Chuck has changed my life.  I know that puts a lot of pressure on him.  But if you would just hear him preach.

Headed Home

Raymond so graciously came and picked me up from my Uncle Bob’s, as the Tesla was still down, and it wasn’t going anywhere!  I had to be back to work on Monday.  I had some great conversation with my Aunt & Uncle.  Along with some yummy Hot Dog Chili, and Cole Slaw.  It reminded me of my Mama’s and my mom’s.  I plan on heading back to West Virginia in September.  Looking forward to many more memorie.
