How Sweet the Sound
This song means a lot to me. I can remember singing this song when I feel sad, or feeling anxious. If you think about the words. “Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost, but now am found, T’was blind but now I see. T’was Grace that taught my heart to fear, and Grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.”
Having something to believe in, is what gets me through. I know that I am still looking for my peace. Believing is the beginning of finding my peace. I have been working on this. Being out of work has been a big peace buster for me. I’m trying to find the good. I’m sure one day I will look back, and think their was a reason for this. I’ll let you know when I figure it out.
Doing For Others
During this time of the “Covid 19” and social distancing. You don’t realize how much you miss people. But being at home, I have gotten to watch a 3 legged skunk, the groundhogs are back. The deer have been poking out, and checking out the green grass growing. Let’s get back to doing things for others, I have been making homemade cards and sending them to nursing homes, to hopefully cheer the the residents up. So that had been bringing joy into my life.
So as I hang on to faith, I am giving everyone that reads this a challenge. If we are not able to go to church Easter Sunday. I encourage all of you at 10:00 am on Easter Sunday to go outside and sing Amazing Grace at 10:00 am. Let’s get this started. Share with your friends, record yourself singing, wether if you can sing or not. Let’s hear it!
God won’t give Us More Than We Can Handle
I know we have always been told that God won’t give us more than we can handle. I think God is seeing how much we can handle. So just remember that you have God on your side.
